Frontend Software Engineer
Build the portal, dashboard and admin screens our customers' HR and payroll teams use every day.
About the role
Every screen an HR manager, payroll officer or employee sees in HR & OMS is built by our small, product-focused frontend team. We're hiring a Frontend Software Engineer to help us keep that experience fast, accessible and consistent as the product grows.
What you will do
- Build and maintain server-rendered Django templates, dashboards and interactive UI components in JavaScript/jQuery.
- Implement responsive, accessible layouts using our Bootstrap-based design system.
- Work closely with our UI/UX Designer to turn mockups into working, cross-browser screens.
- Fix visual and interaction bugs reported by customers and QA.
What we are looking for
- 2+ years of experience building web UIs with JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
- Experience with jQuery and a component/CSS framework such as Bootstrap.
- An eye for detail and consistency across a large, multi-screen product.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
