The starting point
A 90-person warehouse tracked incoming and outgoing stock on paper racks and a shared spreadsheet, staff clocked in on a logbook at the guard post, and the loading dock gate was opened by hand for every truck. Shift handovers meant re-counting pallets nobody was sure had already been counted.

RFID readers replaced the guard-post logbook, an electromagnetic lock and barrier arm went in at the dock gate, and every rack got a barcode-labeled bin location.
Every employee received an RFID card, every asset and pallet got a barcode tag, and the warehouse and dock teams ran through check-in/check-out scanning during a live shift before go-live.
Attendance, dock-gate access, and stock movement all ran through the same platform — a supervisor could see who clocked in, what left the dock, and what was still on the shelf, from one dashboard.
Software updates, reader and barrier-arm servicing, and a single support line for the whole site continue after go-live — the same team that installed and integrated the system keeps it running.
